Finished and unfinished edges on notches

Aug 31, 2015 | CounterGo

A few weeks ago, we made it possible to add splashes to bump-outs in CounterGo. But, when we did that, we also sneaked in a way to add unfinished edges to notches. This is especially useful if you’re working around columns with a countertop.

When you’re on Step 3 of a CounterGo drawing, click on a corner with a notch, and choose the type of edge you want.

It’s also possible to change the type of edge if you’ve got a bump-in somewhere else on the countertop. In that case, you’ll first need to Segment This Edge when you’re on Step 3. For each of the segments of the bump-in, you can decide whether it has a finished edge, unfinished edge, or a backsplash.
